October to March is ideal for Sundarban boat safaris — cooler weather and clearer water visibility. The monsoon months (June–September) are best avoided due to rough water conditions.

Distance & How to Reach

Approximately 110 km from Kolkata (2.5–3 hours by road) to Godkhali or Canning, followed by a boat transfer into the Sundarbans.
